I have almost made a living off bashing Online Gamer and all his antics, yet I find myself right in the middle of Online Gamer paradise with another stab at a MMO game. Dark Age of Camelot has me at the moment, and its good. I know its been out for a while now, but this is really getting me excited for True Fantasy Live Online. One thing there needs to be more of in MMO games are servers built for RP only. Check em out.

Ubi Soft has announced their lineup for this years E3 and boy does it look rock solid.
- Tom Clancy’s Ghost Recon 2
- Brothers in Arms
- Prince of Persia 2
- Far Cry Instincts
- Tom Clancy’s Rainbow Six: Black Arrow
- Myst IV: Revelation
- The Settlers V
Ubi also has a few other titles that will be on display, but these are the big name games that will generate a lot of press.
More news has leaked about Final Fantasy XII, and quite frankly its good news. Imagine a fully 3-D enviroment where you can enter into first person view (like you can in the MMO FFXI) in order to explore every inch of the world. Fans of the Tactics series will love the return of Ivalice, although don’t expect it to be the same world that Tactics gave you. So far from the screen shots look a notch above what we have come to expect from both the PS2 and the engine that ran FF X and X-2.

I hate to say I told you so, but I did. The reason cited for the halt in production is none other than slow sales. My favorite quote from the Gamespot article is this:
“The PSX’s controls were being developed by the games division, while the Blu-ray Disc division was doing the AV parts. But the divisions couldn’t work too well together. As a result, the capabilities of the PSX became incoherent, and it ended up as a machine that’s neither a game console nor a DVD recorder.”
