In a suprise after hours move, the President and COO of Vivendi Universal Games North American division was announced to have “departed from the company effective immediately.” VU isn’t being open with the details surrounding the event.

EA needs Xbox Live and Xbox Live needs EA. I am gonna get the two together and sit them in a room and not let them leave till a deal is made.
Check out the Frozen Zone, its good stuff. Cone really does have a lot to say about things like programing. I do love that industry as they really rely on eachother to help build it up. Open source and sharing what you know is really the way to go.

Koei managed to announce the future release of Dynasty Warriors 4: Empires in the US and I missed it. I would be lying if I had any idea what they are changing in this version, but lets hope its not an expansion like DW3/4 XL was because I have DW4 for Xbox and not for PS2. *fingers crossed*
There has been a lot of discussion lately about the possibility for EA to jump on the Live bandwagon. If you recall, EA had serious issues with using Microsoft run servers and opted to not integrate Live into any of its sports games. This year Microsoft will launch LSP (Live Server Protocol) which will allow developers to run their own servers and still utilize the Xbox Live service. Could this be what EA needs to make Madden 2005 Live enabled?
