Engadget received a post recently detailing a discussion that a gentleman had with J Allard, the head of the Xbox division for MS, regarding future plans for Xbox 2 and a possible MP3 player that doubles as a HD for the next version of the console. Truth or fiction? Who knows, but I would totally buy one.

Capcom has announced that they are working on a new Resident Evil game aptly named Resident Evil: Outbreak File #2. The game is supposed to be set around 8 Raccoon City citizens and their attempt to escape the city. The game will be released this fall for PS2.

Apparently the recent drop to $149 boosted Xbox sales two-fold. Speculation is that Sony will follow suit and drop the price by the end of the month. There is also a possibility that Sony will include 2 games in the bundle effectively routing the Xbox price advantage.

Reportedly the new Xbox will feature some Apple hardware in the form of dual G5 Processors. This makes me very happy. I would love to see an Apple logo on just about anything that exists.
