The first official Snackbar Meetup, which needs a new name since “meetup” just sounds un-cool, was a total blast. We had about 28 people at Peter Piper Pizza and then we headed to Dave and Busters where a few more joined in on the fun. We are definitely planning a 2nd even t for the August timeframe and it will probably involve a swimsuit so get ready.

Some serious props are in order for a one Pretzel A. Ortega. He was in attendance at the Xtreme Gaming Cafe on Friday night where they held a Battlefield Vietnam tourney. Our very own Pretzel took top honors with a first place finish. In honor of his victory, Pretzel has ponied up for a pair of games to be given away. Stay tuned for the details.

I too would like to say thanks to everyone that made it out to Peter Piper’s and DB’s. It was really cool to put faces to the names I know only from the forum. Planning for Meetup #2 is in the works possibly to occur in August, so clear those calenders!

I want to thank everyone for coming out last night, it was great. Special thanks to Anuj for coming down from Austin to hang with the crew. I got to hang with some forum people for the first time and Anuj and Boracho are legit let me tell you. We gotta have another one of these again it was awesome.

I suck at Time Crisis.

Tomorrow at 8pm in front of EB Games in Huebner Oaks. We are leaving at 8:30pm to go to Peter Piper Pizza on Bandera road at Huebner. From there, those of us that are 21 are heading to Dave and Busters. I expect to see everyone there. Well, not EVERYONE, but those of you that can make it.
