Hamtaro

August 11, 2004

So my copy of Hamtaro showed up yesterday and I only got to spend a few minutes with it and I officially suck as a hamster olympian. I have a fear that this game will be as addicting as many people find Super Monkey Ball.

For those of you that would like to envy me, I am expecting a copy of the Metroid Prime 2: Echos bonus disc to show up tomorrow so I will get you my thoughts on that probably Friday. I was on my way to work this morning wondering why I never spent any time with the original and I think I figured it out. I have been in a ton of ‘discussions’ where people try and compare MP to Halo. To me this is like comparing a Fiero to a Ferrari where the only similarity they may share is that they are both video games. Sure they are both first person, but I don’t think it is fair to compare then. No, I don’t think either one is on the ‘Fiero’ level, but it made my stupid analogy work.

Now that I have a few of the major coding things out of the way I can get back to a few of the reviews I have been meaning to do. Don’t forget to send in your submission to the Say What?! Caption contest. It should prove to be awesome.

Hopefully it works this time…

Here it is. In full (I hope) working order. The commenting system is directly tied to the forum so in order to make comments you have to be a forum member. There is a separate subforum below The Snackbar for these threads to go in. Enjoy and as always your feedback is welcome.

This is more of a test

I am not sure this will work, but if it does then I will be very pleased because it means the commenting system is in full effect. *crosses fingers*

Windows XP SP2 out

August 9, 2004

For all you PC users and gamers alike, SP2 has been released and while it isn’t on the Windows Update site, I have a direct link to the huge 266MB file on The Frozen Zone.

Edit: The Frozen Zone no longer exists.
