Thanks to some of the fine folks in the forums over at Technicae I got some more info on how to obtain the demo disc. It is a lot like the Zelda disc that was in such high demand. You can get it by purchasing the bundle, subscribing to Nintendo Power, or by registering your Gamecube and 5 games. I have 4 games registered so I do not qualify but many of you might. To find out if you qualify, go here and login to your MyNintendo account. For full details on the bonus disc you can head on over to the FAQ page.
August 2004
For those of you that put off buying a Gamecube and have recently been considering it you may want to wait 2 weeks. On August 15th Nintendo will start selling a GC bundle packed with the hit game Metroid Prime. The bundle will also come with a playable demo of the highly anticipated sequel Metroid Prime 2: Echoes.
Metroid Prime never kept me interested, but it sounds like an awesome bundle to me.
Time Warner blows, we reserve the middle finger for our forums but they get on the main page today. Bitches. Get my net connection back up so I can get some work done.
I’ll get back to you when the dipshits at the monopoly conglomerate finish counting their money and take care of their customers. I have the new contest on the way for Snackbar, and the prize for this one is legit! Stay tuned same community time, same community channel.
I know everyone was geeked to play Black Arrow tomorrow but Wraith just let me know it got bumped to Thursday. I am not sure if the delay affects everyone or just our EB so you may want to make a phone call if you have it on order.
Ding Chavez is back with 24 new maps, more weapons (NO .50 CALS), and some more new features. Rainbow Six: Black Arrow will be out in stores tomorrow, so make sure you peeps stop by your nearest EB Games to get your copy. The SB and EB Crew will be playing on Xbox Live tomorrow after 5:00pm, and we will also be in a private server. If you want in some action, post on the forums.
