There is something nice about knowing that every Monday morning I am greeted by news of yet another trio of games coming to the Wii Virtual Console. I mean, even if the games aren’t even good, there is a level of suspense that is kind of exciting to finding out what is coming down the pipe for this week.
This morning, we were greeted by the news that Nintendo had a few odd-ball titles lined up for this week in the form of ZANAC (NES), Eternal Champions (Genesis), and The Dynastic Hero (TG16).
Of the 3, I’ve only played Eternal Champions and I use the term “play” loosely here. EC was a downright frustrating game that I never seemed to get the hang of. I recently pawned my Genesis and my copy of EC off on my brother, whom I can guarantee has yet to power it up, but nonetheless I feel like I am being haunted by this game.
