Nintendo and Best Buy are teaming up to host a series of Super Smash Bros. tourneys leading up to the release of the much anticipated Wii title. The competitions will be hosted in Los Angeles, San Francisco, Boston, and New York. The final tourney will take place at the Best Buy on 622 Broadway as part of the Midnight Launch festivities.

Each of the 256 contestants at each tourney will receive a $10 Besy Buy card. One lucky winner will win a
custom-designed, crystal-covered Wii, a home theater system from Best Buy and other prizes.

EA Announces Red Alert 3

After a 7 year break, EA revealed that it was returning to the world of Command and Conquer with the announcement of the upcoming Red Alert 3.

Red Alert 3
promises some ground breaking features for the RTS genre in the form of a fully co-operative game play while bringing back the light-hearted style and classic action-oriented gameplay that the series is known for.

The official website is sporting a trio of screenshots from the upcoming game as well as details about getting into the game’s beta which is slated to launch later this year.

EA just announced that the controversial space title, Mass Effect, will be re-released for the PC in May. With storyline in tact, Mass Effect has been optimized for the PC with the following new features:
