Gamecock Media Group announced today that the release of the upcoming Pirates vs Ninjas Dodgeball game has been pushed back until later this Spring. The team at Blazing Lizard decided to go back in and add more traditional rules dodgeball modes.
In traditional Gamecock fashion, the delay is being blamed on “pirated copies”.
“We see the irony in all this,” noted Christopher Stockman, Studio Director at Blazing Lizard. “Rest assured, we have a crack team of Ninjas on the case and hunting down all pirates. On the positive side it gives us a chance to go back and add in additional content to the game.” READ MORE

LucasArts annouced today that the highly anticipated title, Star Wars: The Force Unleashed, will be released in the US on September 16th. Release dates for Southeast Asia and Austrlia are set for September 17th and September 19th in Europe.
Unleashed has players taking on the role of Darth Vader’s Secret Apprentice and promises to unveil new revelations about the Star Wars galaxy. The game’s story takes place between Episode III and IV and is one of the most ambitious projects LucasArts has ever launched. READ MORE
BioWare has announced that they are working with Demiurge Studios to bring Mass Effect to the PC. Slated for release this May, Mass Effect’s release on the PC will bring with it a host of new features and will focus on making the experience unique to the platform.

The World Cyber Games Committee announced today that Chengdu, China would host the leagues’ tournament and festival for 2009. The formal announcement is scheduled to be made in China on April 23rd when the WCG organices head to Chengdu for the official signing ceremony. READ MORE
