Media Molecule’s platformer/construction-set LittleBigPlanet won eight trophies of its own yesterday, including the overall game of the year, at the 12th annual Interactive Achievement Awards in Las Vegas.
Other winners included Left 4 Dead (computer game of the year, online gameplay), Fallout 3 (role-playing game of the year, original story), Super Smash Bros. Activision has just confirmed that the Wings Track Pack for Guitar Hero World Tour is available today for PS3, X360, and Wii. This track pack features three great songs from Paul McCartney’s post-Beatles career and features: “Junior’s Farm”, “Hi Hi Hi”, and “Jet.”
The Wings Track Pack will cost you 440 MS Points from the LIVE Marketplace or $5.49 from the Playstation Store. The songs will also be available as singles for 160 MS Points, $1.99 from the PlayStation store, or 200 Wii Points.
Ubisoft announced today that they have teamed up with TransGaming Inc., a leading developer of portability technologies, to release Mac versions of several titles. Prince of Persia and Shaun White Snowboarding will be released via Ubisoft’s online distrobution network, GameTree, as well as in select retail locations in March 2009.
Other titles headed for retail stores include: CSI: Crime Scene Investigation:Hard Evidence, Rayman Raving Rabbids and PetzR Sports. These titles will also be available in March. READ MORE
Majesco announced today that the first title in their new Go Play lineup would be debuting in May 2009. This debut title is called Go Play Lumberjacks and allows gamers to fire up their chainsaws and chop, saw, and logroll in 5 event categories.
Go Play Lumberjacks is a party game that allows up to 4 gamers to use the Wii Remote to compete in head to head action and even supports the Wii Balance Board for some events. READ MORE
