Once just a spinoff from the Rayman series, the Raving Rabbids have developed into their own full-scale franchise. Raving Rabbids: Alive & Kicking is the newest in the series, and the first to support Microsoft’s Kinect sensor. With the franchise’s history of motion-sensing minigames on the Wii, it is interesting to see what new tricks the team at Ubisoft put together for this release. READ MORE

There’s plenty of fishing games available on the Wii, so what makes this game any different than the others? Not much, but progression and multiplayer add to the appeal and interest. READ MORE

The team over at Arrowhead Studios has been rewarding faithful Magicka fans with regular DLC packs, from maps to equipment to a player-vs.-player arena. What made the original so fun, though, was the campaign, full of interesting set-pieces and ludicrous geek culture references, as well as the progression of finding more and better spells. READ MORE

One of my non-gaming passions is Terry Pratchett’s Discworld novels and other writings. I own over forty of his books (most of which I’ve read multiple times), two animated adaptations, three BBCTV movie adaptations, and even a couple of point-and-click computer games (although I still need to give Discworld Noir a try…). So when I learned of not one, but two Discworld board games coming out this year to say I was thrilled would be a gross understatement. READ MORE
