Konami’s series of licensed beat-’em-ups in the late ’80s and early ’90s were a huge success at the time, and those who played them then have desired to experience them again on modern consoles. Konami and Ubisoft were happy to oblige, bringing TMNT and X-Men games to downloadable services. Now we have The Simpsons Arcade, and if there’s anything we’ve learned at this point, it’s that only some of these hold up as well as we thought they would. READ MORE

TOP STORY: Little Big Planet Karting announced

Unlike most Sony rumors, this one lasted very little time before Sony commented on it. It was confirmed on Friday via a tweet that a kart racing game featuring Sackboy will be a reality at some point in the not-too-distant future. Nothing else was said, not even what studio is working on it or the target systems. It’s a fair assumption that it will be a PS3 and PS Vita title though, as PSP support is unlikely at this point.

BioWare and EA were preparing for next month’s Mass Effect 3 release by releasing five separate trailers dealing with various aspects of the much-anticipated sequel to our 2010 Game of the Year.
