There may not be a game yet available for the Wii U that can best the thoughtful, cohesive aesthetic of Chasing Aurora. The eShop exclusive from Broken Rules doesn’t exactly push the system’s horsepower, but everything, from the ambient soundtrack to the differently-scaled TV and GamePad interfaces to the look of the levels, is exactly what it needs to be. For all the game’s missteps (and there are a few), it maintains a wholly pleasant feel throughout. READ MORE

The twenty-sided die, or d20, is such an iconic symbol of pen-and-paper RPGs that this column was named in reference to it (or perhaps in reference to a Penny Arcade reference to it). I can’t tell you about the story, because it’s the only thing that adventure games really have, it’s the big reason that I play them and if I spoil the story for you then I’m doing both the game and you a disservice. That said, the narrative journey that Primordia takes you on is well worth experiencing. READ MORE

It put some system launches in perspective and gave us a chance to understand what exactly makes a good launch and what doesn’t. Here are the first ten from our top 20. READ MORE
It’s been three years since we last saw a Tekken game, but almost 12 years since the last Tag installment. The series itself has been considered one of the best 3D fighters available on the market. With the critical acclaim of the last two games in the series and the overall hype of the game surrounding the release of Tag Tournament 2, would this game live up to the expectations that everyone had for it?
Definitely. READ MORE
