In spirit of Capcom re-releasing all its older games, Marvel vs. Capcom Origins makes an appearance on both the Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3. Along with the original Marvel vs. Capcom: Clash of Super Heroes, the collection includes Marvel Super Heroes. With two accurate arcade ports of the two games as well as online play, would it make the purchase worth it?

I like hack-and-slash games that throw me right into the action. I’m also a sucker for a nice medieval setting with a touch of fantasy. Just from the looks of it and gameplay previews I’ve seen, it looked like R.A.W.: Realms of Ancient War would be another decent Diablo clone.

It’s been three years since we last saw a Tekken game, but almost 12 years since the last Tag installment. The series itself has been considered one of the best 3D fighters available on the market. With the critical acclaim of the last two games in the series and the overall hype of the game surrounding the release of Tag Tournament 2, would this game live up to the expectations that everyone had for it?

The Way of the Samurai series has been around since 2002. While it hasn’t garnered the most favorable of reviews throughout its lifetime, it keep getting released year after year for the niche crowd that seems to like this series and its sometimes-bizarre nature. Do the problems that plagued the previous versions continue to prevent the series from advancing? More or less, I suppose.

At my absolute core, I’m an arcade gamer. I guess I’ve been lucky enough over the years to have one or two decent ones near me. Ever since 2000, it’s become an integrated part of my gaming life, and it probably explains why I almost never get any console gaming done. Regardless, it was because of a gameplay preview on TechTV (remember that channel?) and a fateful trip to the Philippines soon after that I would introduce me to a game that would eventually mean more than just that to me.
