For those of you who are big fans of City of Heroes, you can now make your Hero famous. City of Heroes is having a film festival open to all City of Heroes subscribers. Using your hero and in game footage, you can create a short film revolving around your unique hero. They will have different categories of genres to participate in. The main prize is a DVD camcorder along with some other cool stuff. This makes me wish I still had my hero. For more info you can go to www.cityofheroes.com.

The Lineup

Nintendo has released their holiday lineup for the GBA SP and it’s Gamecube. I will be expecting Sony and Xbox to follow the lead here soon. September is a few days away, so I guess now is a good time as any to start saving up or working hard at school for good grades. September has a ton of games being released, the most anticitpated of all being Fable.
In other news, I have started pre-loading Half-Life 2 on to my PC. This morning I was greeted by a message prompt from Steam asking if I wanted to preload it. So the progress has begun and now its taking forever. I will keep you guys posted. A report from last night, The Crew got together for a nice little dinner at Chili’s to celebrate Pickles Birthday. And let me say it was a great time.

Just to inform all you Sims fans out there, The Sims 2 has just gone gold. I know all of you are running to the stores to put in your last minute pre-orders. Honestly, I can freaking give a rats butt about The Sims. I have trouble enough managing my own life, let alone some freaking CG character. Ridiculous…I hate that entire series.
In other news, like Pickle said a few posts ago. We will be having some uber cool contests and giveaways in the months to come. Oh did I mention we are planning to give away copies of Halo 2. Not that I am counting or anything but there are 75 days until Halo 2 is released!!
Being a fan of Counter Strike, I have decided to download CS Source Beta. I personally am not a huge fan of Valve and their antics. Postponing Half-Life 2 for over a year and a half was ridiculous. Charging humble lan centers insane amounts of money to have copies of a mod is just plain stupid. But I must admit, I am very pumped to get Half-Life 2 and the new CS mod. I will keep you posted on all that jazz. There is no set date on the release of Half-Life 2, but the talk is, it will be out in a month or so.
In other news, I have reserved my copies of Fable and Star Wars Battlefront. KOTOR will have to wait for a few weeks.
