I wanted to say props to all the boys on our BF2 tourney league. We made the playoffs ranked in the number 2 seed. While we dont have all the members of our championship team of last year, the boys we have are class. The regular season is over and now its time to get serious. The quest for the title is on baby.

Ok we already have a thread about this in our forums, and every forum in the world is talking about the new Nintendo controller. Rumors are still running about but I read in an article that there will still be a conventional controller, only time will know for sure though. I can see this being a turnoff to third parties especially ones who just want to port across the board. As far as the controller itself, its brilliant. It is a wonderful way of thinking on the part of Nintendo, and the analog in one hand, buttons in the other seems more comfortable to me. Expect the gaming world to be split in half about it, but till we get to feel one in our hands, the debates will continue.

Our podcasts are getting better, and bigger and that is a great thing. This weekend we have Joe Vithayathil of Fox News KABB here in San Antonio in house talking about media and gaming. So like Pretz said, send in those emails. Joe does “The Nightshift” and has done some stories related to some of our community relationships before. We know he games (hell he waited for Halo 2 with us) and its gonna be great to have him on the show.

Ok so the wool has been pulled off and the Madden 06 video for the next gen is REALLY out. Guess what? It looks nothing like the f’n video we all came to drool over. That upsets me to no ends, and since we stopped cursing on the main page, I really dont know what else to say.
