Final Fantasy X introduced legions of RPG fans to an exciting new generation of consoles, wowing them with its vibrant graphics and, for the first time, voiced characters. It was so successful and beloved by fans that it became the first game in the Final Fantasy series to receive a direct sequel, Final Fantasy X-2. Now these two games have become the first 3D Final Fantasy titles to get an updated re-release, with upgraded visuals for today’s systems.
Remember Me is a worthy attempt to find its place amongst its peers in an increasingly-crowded genre. Any fan of science fiction with a cyberpunk twist will find the writing to be on par with any number of well-received novels. Unfortunately, a few design decisions mar the overall vision and promise of the world it creates.
4X games are something of a weakness for me. It almost doesn’t matter what the content is; I’ll dig in for at least a couple of days, as long as it’s playable. That said, it takes something interesting to keep me coming back. StarDrive has what it takes, but it can be tough to get into it. READ MORE
