Tt Games’ Lego franchise is full of all-ages fun. The portable versions, though? Not so fun. There’s something that doesn’t scale well, and it needs enough power to look effortless.
The 3DS makes it look effortless.
3D is a good look for Lego pieces, since the shiny little 3D things remind you of the real-life pieces even more that way. There wasn’t much of a level to play here, but the engine looks nice and the infamous destructible wall panels and objects are all in place.
While much of the series’ appeal is in co-op, this could be a great diversion for the youngsters on the go (or just the young at heart).
