At GamesCom today, Konami announced the release date of the latest full-fledged title in the Castlevania series: Lords of Shadow. Being produced by Mercury Steam and supporte by Kojima’s Metal Gear Solid team, Castlevania: Lords of Shadow is set to be released on October 5, 2010.
Lords of Shadow will take place in 1047 and follow the exploits of Gabriel Belmont, the newest member of the storied Belmont family. It will also boast a free-roaming environment, 3D graphics, and God of War style combat.
