Following rumors that the PlayStation 3 version of Mass Effect 2 might include PlayStation-exclusive content, EA stifled any complaints by detailing what exactly would be coming to the PlayStation 3 with Mass Effect 2, namely, everything that is available on the Xbox 360 and PC, but nothing new.
On the Blu-Ray disc will be the three largest pieces of DLC released for the Xbox 360 and PC- Kasumi: Stolen Memories, Overlord, and Lair of the Shadow Broker, along with an interactive comic jointly produced by Dark Horse Comics and Bioware that will not only allow you to understand the major plot points from Mass Effect, but also allow you to make some of the major choices that will impact how Mass Effect 2 will play out.
Also included with new copies will be a code to access the Cerberus Network, allowing access to all the DLC that is available there on the Xbox 360 and PC as well.
Finally, other ‘exclusive’ free and paid DLC will be released for the PlayStation 3 version, though how exactly it is exclusive is unknown, as EA stated that all of the DLC will be content that is already available to Xbox 360 and PC owners.
