According to the box art of Gamestop’s now removed FlingSmash product page, Nintendo is planning on introducing a new design for the Wiimote. Called the Wii Remote Plus, it appears to combine the Wii Remote and the Motion Plus sensors into a single Wiimote.
No official word from Nintendo yet, other than the official box art that Gamestop has since removed. Expect an official confirmation next week during Nintendo’s press conference on September 29th.
