This week Sony released videos detailing a new way to play ball in MLB 12: The Show, both at the plate and in the field. Offering both a new way to play and the chance of more realistic games and results, Sony is hoping that these new modes will attract new players to the game. And for those who hate change, don’t worry. The trailers show that all the old methods of playing are still intact, just one menu option away. Check out both trailers, the pitching trailer is above and the batting trailer is after the break.

TOP STORY: Resident Evil 6 detailed and dated
Capcom was apparently sitting on a Resident Evil 6 announcement until it had a whole chunk of data they were willing to give up on it (namely a date: November 20). Taking place roughly 10 years after the Raccoon City incident, RE6 will feature separate storylines for Leon Kennedy and Chris Redfield: Leon’s focused on America, where the President is zombified, and Chris is heading to China. New characters will be introduced and join them in their attempts to fight the bioterrorism outbreaks. Additionally, while not specifically mentioned by Capcom, the Xbox.com entry for RE6 says that it will support two-player offline and six-player online co-op.
Capcom finally announced the much-anticipated Resident Evil 6, the newest mainline entry in the bestselling series. Accordingly, our trailer this weekend is the big reveal, and it certainly has many Resident Evil fans talking. What do you think of it? Let us know in the comments!
