This seems like a joke, but it’s apparently not: Atari just announced that they’re rebooting Centipede as a post-apocalyptic shooter for 3DS and Wii. They even sent out a trailer (after the break), so we think this is happening. Here’s the thing: since WayForward is developing the game, it’s probably going to be a lot of fun. Out this fall, Centipede: Infestation stars a guy named Max who meets a girl named Maisy and apparently saves both the world and the environment. It’s unclear, really. READ MORE

This week, we have the debut trailer for 3DS adventure title Doctor Lautrec and the Forgotten Knights. The story (and animation) looks like Professor Layton with an Indiana Jones sheen, but the gameplay’s quite a bit different. Unfortunately, you only get to see it for about half a second. In a release, Nintendo revealed its Q2 lineup, as well as a summary of third-party releases. The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time 3D is clearly the anchor, releasing June 19. Rounding out first-party offerings are two Wii titles, Wii Play: Motion and Mystery Case Files: Dust to Dust, releasing June 13 and 27, respectively. Those hoping for a first-party release in April or May are out of luck, it seems.
