We’re growing the team at Snackbar Games! Here’s what we’re seeking:
Community Manager: We love Snackbar, and we want someone to help us share what we do with others and interact with the community. Applicants need solid grammar and a general knowledge of social media.
Associate Producer: Do you love talking about games and think this is the right place for you? Snackbar Games is seeking someone to help run the site, coordinating staff and spearheading the creation of audio/video content. Applicants need general technical know-how, and though experience with WordPress, Audacity and such are appreciated, a lot can be taught on the job.
Associate Editor, News/Previews: Are you always keeping up with the latest, be it news from the game industry or your everyday life? We’re looking for someone to spearhead our original reporting, interviews and event coverage, as well as help lead and manage the Snackbar staff when needed. This person would need to have solid grammar skills, and knowledge of AP style is preferred.

As the fall release season approaches, we’re looking for a few talented individuals to join the Snackbar Games team! Here are a few more details:
Associate Editor: The first mate on the HMS Snackbar, the Associate Editor helps us do more and better things. The position helps to oversee our regular features, guide our reviews coverage and add polish to our prose. This person would need to have solid grammar skills, and knowledge of AP style is preferred.
Reporter: We don’t re-type news around here. We’d rather focus on firsthand event coverage and interviews with interesting people in the industry. Does that sound like something you’d like to take on? Solid grammar skills and the ability to write quickly are must-have skills.
Reviewer: The holiday release rush means more games than we can cover. Help us miss fewer of them! Applicants for this position would need to have access to games to review (at least initially), as well as a clean, smart writing style. A gaming-capable PC is preferred, too.
Interested in joining our merry band? Send ideas and samples of your work to [email protected].

Instead of a typical press conference, Nintendo tried something a little different with its Nintendo Direct. The focus was on Wii U software, with some announcements and a few nice surprises.
Sony’s E3 press conference focused on game announcements, both new and old, and clarification of Sony’s policies regarding used games and always online. While some of the titles demoed at the event were already known about in advance, there were still plenty of surprises.
