Steel Diver started life as a DS tech demo. It was well-accepted by critics, but it was a fiddly touch-screen game about a sub, so it didn’t go anywhere for a while. It’s finally seeing release with 3D visuals, but… it’s still a fiddly touch-screen game about a sub.
In addition to all the games on display, we took the 3DS’ built-in features for a spin, including the camera, Mii maker, Game Boy emulation and AR games.

Face Raiders, the built-in 3DS game, has you taking a photo of your face, then shooting it repeatedly. With a vengeance.
It’s a little strange.
Sony celebrated the launch of LittleBigPlanet 2 with a marathon stream event this week, setting multiple world records and generally showing off what LBP2 can do. The event, held at the Sony Style store in New York City, had four gamers play the game for fifty hours (and one minute).
