For those who remember the good ol’ days of Diablo II, with its mouse-destroying point-and-click combat, it has been a very long time since they’ve been able to set forth on a new adventure.
Luckily, Runic Games released a pressure valve in the form of Torchlight, a critically acclaimed Diablo-esque action RPG last year. With Diablo III an indeterminant length of time away from being released, Runic Games announced yesterday that they are working on a sequel to Torchlight, with plans to release it in the spring of 2011.
In Torchlight II, not only will you get an all-new storyline to play through, but you’ll be able to play through it with your friends, as it will introduce co-op multiplayer to the game.
