I have always given Nintendo the benefit of the doubt. After all, it was their NES console that got me started down the path to video game righteousness when I was much younger than I am today. That being said, I have to wonder what it is they are doing with this announcement. They are dominating the handheld market w/ GBA but they are barely doing anything in the console market so they announce a “gimmicky” dual screen portable unit? Does this sound like a bad idea to anyone else? While Nintendo has my full faith, I am just being very skeptical at this point and I won’t make a judgement until I can be fully informed about the new device and what it is intended for.
