At X06 today Microsoft announced that they would be teaming up with Marvel Entertainment and Cryptic Studios, best known for City of Heroes and City of Villains, to bring Marvel Universe Online to the 360 and Windows Vista.

That sounds like it could revolutionize the MMO genre. Expect a lot of info coming out of Microsoft and Cryptic as this project gets underway. MMOs are a huge cash cow so Microsoft will surely put some weight behind this project.
