Silent Hill is a series that has been down as of late, though Konami continues to try to rejuvenate the series with new takes on the classic formula. This time, they’ve tried to do so with a throwback to the early titles in atmosphere and characters, and we have to say that it certainly pays off in a twisted way. READ MORE

I doubt many thought that Square Enix would get involved in the business of zombie-killing. In Dead Island, they and Deep Silver make us get up close and personal with them, in a much more open world than we’re used to. From our time with the game, we can definitively state that the apocalypse has rarely been more enjoyable. READ MORE
The Uncharted series may very well be the flagship franchise on the PlayStation 3, but it has been conspicuously absent from the handheld lineup of first-party games. Bend Studios is bucking that trend, bringing Uncharted: Golden Abyss to the launch of upcoming PlayStation Vita. READ MORE
Outside of Dance Central, Kinect games have failed to impress a majority of gamers, but if Sega has anything to say about it, that may soon change. Rise of Nightmares is perhaps the most ambitious Kinect title to date, though we’re not sure yet how well it will all come together in the end. READ MORE
There’s one arcade puzzler we love that hasn’t quite been remade into oblivion yet, and we thought it might be lost forever: Data East’s Magical Drop. Unlike its brethren (notably Taito/Square Enix’s Bust-a-Move), it hasn’t really gotten the chance to have a modern renaissance. Leave it to Ignition to save our beloved Magical Drop V and let it find its way safely onto PC and consoles in the near future. READ MORE
